Hotel Vila Joya is a luxury Moorish style palace with twelve double rooms and five suites, located in the heart of the Algarve, just 15 km west of Albufeira and 50 km from the international airport. The inn boasts the only two Star Michelin Restaurant in the whole of Portugal.
Austrian chef Dieter Koschina regularly inspects the markets of the Algarve in search for ingredients of the finest quality. He buys Atlantic lobster, crayfish and turbot from local fishermen but brings in truffles, goose livers and caviar from the best markets in Europe. Since 1991, Koschina and his eight assistant chefs have been serving unbeatable quality food, pleasing the palates of a cluster of celebrities as well as the strict Michelin Testers.
Koschina selected a 4.6 meter-long blue and brass traditional Molteni stove for the restaurant worth more than 120 thousand euros.
