Molteni, a work of art that will become a sculpture

In 1987, the world known Chef Alain Ducasse installed a Molteni “piano” in his restaurant Le Louis XV in Monaco. After 25 years of exemplary service, the one tone stove in cast iron has been replaced by a more recent Molteni.

The Molteni “piano” will be transformed into a sculpture to “pay a tribute to the men who have devoted all their creativity and energy to the culinary art”, explains Serge Haiurabètian, President of ECHR, a company specialized in the design and installation of premium professional kitchens; for these reasons, Mr Haiurabètian asked Frédéric Vermorel to transform the old stove into a work of art.
